Every year during Pithori my family prepares a huge spread of dishes. Most of them are sweet cuisines so when Vade are served, everyone has a smacking mouthful of them. In Pithori Celebrations one of the spicy fried item is Vade. They are crispy circular fried cuisine loved by everyone.

Ingredients
- Urad Dal - 2 cups
- White flour - 1 cup
- Turmeric - 1 tsp
- Jeera powder -1 tsp
- Green chilli - 5 nos.
- Coriander - 1 cups (finely chopped)
- Salt
Instructions
- Soak 2 cups of Urad Dal in water overnight or 5 hours.
- In a mixer, grind the soaked urad dal, turmeric powder, jeera powder, green chilli’s and coriander.
- Now add some salt as per taste and pour a cup of white flour to make a nice dough for Vade.
- With the help of rolling pin and board make circular Vade.
- Heat sufficient oil in an utensil for deep frying the Vade. Fry the Vade until they are golden brown and crispy in texture.
- Drain the excess of oil and serve the Vade with chutney or ketchup.
